As a Victorian business we must carry vehicle and public Liability to safe guard all customers and public in general. The guarantee is dependent on the types of work carried out, it varies from retainer walls to pergolas, most works performed are classified to certain standards and are ethically bound by the provider. Please ensure too check off all the requirements before you start any works.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

As a young man I enjoyed blacksmithing and outside work, which included tiling building swimming pools anything to do with hands on,it gave me a sense of accomplishment after years of working for other people and companies I decided to form my own business and give it all I had to offer

I had just moved into my area where I now live and a lady rang me up who lived just around the corner she started to explain how she had rang up a hire company and had two excavators skid steer 2 trucks working for two weeks at her property including a man to blast rocks in the ground they had charged her  $17-18000 and she had water and dampness up her walls of her house, I went and looked and was flabbergasted at what they had left her with firstly they did not removed the old septic tank located next to the house the rocks were approximately two meters from the house with dirt piled over them the drainage was non existent and was flowing to the house walls so I quoted it and started immediately I moved back  the rocks 4 meters I removed the septic to find a great pit had formed underneath nearly causing the house to nearly move. Having a 45 degree sloping up backyard I tiered it giving it pathways and free formed steps completely changing the whole perspective and giving her a complete make over of the  back yard in two days she was so happy and re leaved. I thought it would take three days so I quoted as such but when I was finished I reduced her cost by 1200 dollars this is only one story in a thousand I can give you the moral is "King Cons Earthworks has a reputation of getting the job done. Dial before you dig the obvious thing to do before excavations.  Latest equipment works faster and more efficiently do your home work.  Ask what problems could be foreseeable or concerns that could be involved during the job.

what is competitive pricing in our field, its the ability to get the job done correctly and efficiently the first time without being a rip off just because you charge more or less doesn't make it better its about communication and on the ball with today standards and technology

We charge either by Hourly rate or by fixed quotation there is always a equipment float dependent on the distance and the length of the Job. Rates vary on the equipment used such as excavator skid steer truck combinations, also auger range costs daily.
