  Leo did an excellent job in tiling my living area. He was reliable, very easy to work with, tidy and flexible. He was also able to give me good advice on what would work best for the area and did all work within agreed time frame. I would certainly use him again if I decided to tile other rooms.

  Leo did a good job at re-tiling our ancient leaking shower in Canberra's inner-north. He was punctual, thorough and keen to get the job done. He was also patient when we slowed things down with underfloor problems and when waiting on our materials. Leo's work quality was very good and he knew how to resolve technical problems with his considerable experience. Until recently Leo worked with his son here in Canberra (now moved interstate), so he's without a truck for rubbish disposal. Also reviews on 1Flash may be under his son's name. I can only review on the rectifying job he did for us. Just be mindful of the following: 1/ His economical quotes (and he came well under), may not include rubbish disposal (without a truck). 2/ He might ask for forward part payment if he's buying materials for you and that's ok. 3/ You will have to take care of asbestos testing (walls floors etc) beforehand and you should ALWAYS do this. If you find it, then that's your problem to rectify before engaging the tradesperson. Asbestos testing is easy and safe to do if you do your research on how to go about it (also a LOT cheaper). 4/ As an old school tradie, he may not get photos you send to him on the phone, so just get him around to look at your problem or perhaps post to 1Flash. He is happy to provide a written quote. 5/ As with all trades think carefully about what you want and make it very, very clear, specifically how you want things to be done from a design perspective. Leo can give input if asked, however, as with any trade-work I suggest you draw up a rough sketch to reduce any misunderstanding. 6/ Ask him beforehand about his preferred payment. Take time to understand Leo, work through any unexpected complications (always with any trade job) and you'll get a good result.
