I always had a passion for the cosmetics/beauty industry and I knew that was the career path I want to focus on, so I went straight into it after finishing VCE

One of my clients was so happy with her makeup trial that after she booked me in to do her and her bridal parties makeup for her special day we remained in contact and she invited along to her wedding as a guest!

I love meeting different people and making them feel special. My aim is to create a variety of flawless make-up styles, be it sexy, glamorous, classic or understated which adds an unforgettable illusion to any occasion.

What cosmetic brands/products  do you use? All makeup used is hypo-allergenic, durable and lightweight. Only professional products including MAC, Napoleon, Chanel, NARS and an extensive variety of cosmetics and mineral makeup are used.

Do you offer makeup trials? Most brides prefer to have a trial with hair and makeup prior to their wedding day. It is not essential, but to make sure that you will be 100 percent happy on the wedding day, a trial is advisable.

I have been a makeup artist and beauty therapist for over 10 years and have an extensive knowledge of the beauty and cosmetics industry. I have worked on various woman varying from all ages and backgrounds. Every face is unique therefore I try and create the perfect look for each individual client.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

The location of where the service will be held will determine the quote  How many people were required for the booking. Timing of when the bookings need to all be ready by.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

The only way of saving money before the service is booked in is if you were to decide not to go ahead with a makeup trial prior to the event date. A trial is only recommended if it is a booking for a wedding.

If four or more clients are booked in at the same time I offer a 10% discount for the group booking.

What makes your pricing competitive?

I am reasonably priced and include eyelash extensions applied free of charge as well as do not add a travel surcharge if the booking is within a 20km radius.

How do you normally charge for your service?

A 20% deposit is required to secure the time and date prior to the booking.  Remaining balance can be paid in cash on the day or a direct bank transfer.

Completed a diploma of beauty therapy in 2003 with over 10 years managing and leading some of Melbournes best day spas and salons.  I also completed a certificate in fashion, glamour and bridal makeup artistry in 2004 at Napoleon Perdis Academy.
