I have professional indemnity insurance and operate as an Incorporated Legal Practice. The work my company undertakes covers liability limited by a scheme approved under Professional Standards Legislation.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I wanted to help people. Practising law enables you to do that. I have had several opportunities over the years of practising law to make a real difference and positive change to peoples lives.

I am often asked about fees and I try to negotiate with all clients an agreed price before undertaking job. I am also frequently asked about my areas of expertise which are Family Law, Criminal Law and Succession Law.

I advise all of my clients from the outset if I have the skills and expertise to perform the work they require. If I am unable to do so I will refer clients to another lawyer who I know where applicable.
