Frequently asked questions

  • Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

We are insured and offer a 12month limited warrantee on workmanship & stone.

  • What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

What is the difference between natural stone (granite, marble etc.) and engineered stones (caesarstone, Quantum Quartz etc.) Engineered stones are a conglomerate of Resin and Quartz which makes a working fantastic surface. Engineered stones are scratch resistant, stain resistant, heat resistant and non porous. Natural stone are slabs that have been quarried from mountains all over the world, with each slab being unique and rich in colours and veining. Granites are full of quartz and generally are very hardwearing surfaces, marble is re crystallised carbonate and quite a soft material in comparison to granite or engineered stone and is easily etched by anything acidic.
