  We contacted William to do a pretty simple job that we just didn't have the time for. He happily came out the next day to inspect the job and quoted a very reasonable price to do a few extra pieces as well. William was on time, polite and very friendly. He also had some great suggestions about how we could improve our yard in the future. He did the job within a day and we are very happy with his work. We will definitely be contacting him again if we need anything done. Thank you!

  It really peeves me to write this review. Usually, I trust people that they would be professional enough to act with Integrity and strive to give their best. However, I am really sad to say that William failed at both. The job was to create a retaining wall, fill with topsoil and lay the turf. On the other side of the retaining wall put some pavers and stones to create a path. What I am so upset about ? 1. After waiting for 2 months and watering grass - Its still dying, and weeds have started to come right through the grass (I never thought this would be possible) - Reason Top soil was never treated with any kind of weed killer. 2. I still hesitate to walk on the grass. The ground is not levelled and there was no compaction done. How I know because one day (approx one month later) I stepped on it and my foot went ankle-deep. 3. Retaining wall is not at the same level and not even straight. 4. Bottom sleeper was cut to half, probably to save effort. In order to place a full-length sleeper ground had to be dug. because of half sleeper sitting at bottom topsoil is washing and oozing out from the gaps between the sleepers every time it rains. This means the ground is sinking and cant support weight. 5. Talking of paved path - No levelling was done and pavers are all crooked. When it rains water sits and we have a puddle. 6. There are other smaller things here and there such as screws coming off from the joint. There is no doubt that William showed me all this at the time of the job but he said - "Its alright nothing to worry about". Just imagine he got me thinking that the job was so well done that I ended him paying extra for a crate of his fav beer in cash. Now in retrospect, it makes me feel so embarrassed and foolish. I reckon I have paid price for being naive and was taken for a ride. I wanted to attach pics to this review but there is no way I can do it, else you could have seen this guy's "professional" work. My front yard is now the "infamous" one thanks to the "Famous" Landscaping! I would never recommend William to anyone. Thanks to the hard lesson learnt, I am putting my back into the backyard. Possibly we will redo the frontyard again once we have saved enough! It's an earnest request, please don't be gullible like me and make sure you ask this guy lots of questions and make him work for his money, else you will be writing a similar review.
