Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

All solicitors with valid practising certificates must be have professional indemnity insurance. This insurance is renewed annually along with our Queensland Practising Certificates through the Queensland Law Society. In Queensland the insurer is Lexon Insurance Ltd.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

If purchasing or selling a property in Queensland the most important thing you should ask your legal service provider is whether or not they practice the Queensland Conveyancing Protocol as mandated by the Queensland law society. This protocol was introduced to combat the undesirable  "Marketeering" that many high volume, low service, low protection that some legal service providers were offering.

We pride ourselves on building personal relationships with our clients. We go the extra mile to look after your interests. After all, we want you to think of us first when it comes to you repeat business.

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?

Even though our prices are kept at very competitive rates we would be happy to offer one flare customers a 10% percent discount on any of our legal services. We're also happy to extend this discount to family members of one for customers.

What makes your pricing competitive?

It's what we don't do that makes us so competitive. Unlike many other firms we don’t charge for the little extras like photocopying, scanning, faxing, general mail etc. We don’t charge extra for a chat and we welcome your call. The last thing we want is a client reluctant to call us for fear of increasing their final bill.  If you do have to leave a message we promise an automated messaging service will NOT return your call. We will not reply via text or issue you with a tracking number to “log on” to our website only to get some generic reply to your question. We will NOT charge you extra for any delays such as building and pest negotiations, finance or settlement extensions that may be required to ensure your conveyance settles. Nor will we charge you a fee to witness documents required for your property conveyance.  At Taylor Law & Conveyancing, we’re here for you. With us, it’s personal.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We offer a fixed fee legal services. We believe this is the best way of keeping you in charge of costs. We don't charge for the extras like photocopying, general mail, sundries etc. You can always speak to a solicitor and you can call us as many times as you like. There will be no additional charge for extra telephone consults.

Carol was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in 1993. As a Senior Associate of one of North Sydney’s most highly regarded law firms, Carol gained extensive experience in the areas of General Practice, Family Law, Commercial Litigation, Advocacy, Property Law, Wills and Estate Planning and Migration Law.  In 1998 Carol commenced private practice in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Property Law, Estate Planning and Migration Law.  Carol established Taylor Law & Conveyancing with the aim of providing focussed personal care for clients at the most important and stressful time of their lives.
