Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Accepted Answer

Yes we are fully insured for both Public Liability and Professional Indemnity. We stand by our work, if we haven't fixed an issue you won't be charged for us to rectify that.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I was an Accountant and became bored with the work. One morning the cleaner had knocked my computer cables out with their vacumn cleaner and I suddenly noticed my computer. I studied at nights and gained some qualifications and changed career and i have never looked back.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

One of our favourite customers runs an Accountancy Practice and Childcare Centre. They were constantly finding their IT people would come out and fix a problem and leave but soon after new problems had been created. We provided a free consultation to our customer and identified many glaring issues - in fact, half of the computers had antivirus software that was almost a year out of date!. We cleaned up the systems and our customer is now very happy with their stable and reliable computer network. It is always satisfying when your customer is so happy with your work that they joke "we hope we don't need to call you again!"

What do you like most about your job?

I personally love the constant change - technology is always evolving in so many ways. Small Businesses today have access to features (cloud file storage, live email to your smartphone etc) that until a few years ago were only available to the largest of companies. It is exciting being a part of this change.

We get asked a lot about "The Cloud" - put simply it just means storing your information and emails on a Server on the Internet. It is best kept simple and we can help you with keeping it that way! We also often get asked "what do I need?" or "I don't know where to start" - it's ok, we can help you. A free onsite consultation is the best way to get started.

As mentioned previously, information is the key here. Once we have sufficient information we can be in a position to provide you with an accurate quote. It's not rocket science but it is the key to success.

The secret to a job well done is understanding the nature of the problem or request. To do that we ask that you: 1. Provide as much information as possible, eg is everyone having the problem or just one person etc? 2. Please let us know any recent history or steps taken to solve the issue 3. Don't be afraid to mention any information you think is relevant. It doesn't matter if you know next to nothing about computers - your comments are often what help us solve your problem.

Others like to know we are watching over their computer systems and proactively fixing any niggly issues that may arise BEFORE they become a problem.
