Yes I am insured for 20,000,000 public liability, one of the highest available. Yes I guarantee my work and am always happy to provide after sales service.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have always been a hands on technical person, so after spending some time in different aspects of trade style work like, underground mining, and general farm handing, I was drawn too electrical both for the technical nature of the job, and the hands on work.

I don't have one particular story, but the best part of the customer service side of the job is getting welcomed into peoples homes and meeting them and their families.

What do you like most about your job?

The best part about being an electrician is once the work is done you get to see the results immediately. When you operate the equipment get to see a light, or oven etc work the way it was intended its can be bit of a buzz.

Ensure the contractor carries the relevant licensing for the job. Whether the contractor is insured. Is the contractor flexible on times and prices.

The most common is in relation to price which is most easily answered through transparency of what things cost and the time it takes to do the tasks. Another common question is about work done to Australian standards which I carry all copies of the relevant standards and can show the relevant info.

I am very sensitive to peoples needs and timings, I find communication the best form of reliability. Trust is something that must be earnt and I am always willing to put in the hard yards to prove my trustworthiness.

I provide excellent service before, during, and after the work. I am also extremely flexible with timings and budgets, and am easily contactable to keep an open line of communication between myself and customers.

Location of the work. The type of work required and the equipment needing to be installed, repaired or maintained(ie how many lights need installation). Time frames for work and access. The condition of the location for installation especially condition of switchboards.

Making the work area easy to access. Providing equipment they want installed themselves(ie lights, ovens, hot plates etc). Providing as much information as possible on what it is they require.

Charging is flexible as either a quote on each item of work, or as a hourly breakdown with parts required added on, I try and be as transparent as possible.

I specialise in most aspects of installation, service and maintenance, but have a particular skill with fault finding on electrical installations.

I have over 10 years of experience in all aspects of electrical work, I am a qualified electrician and contractor with other qualifications in data and TV, working at heights, working with elevated work platforms, and confined spaces.
