How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I got into this line of work because I just loved cars. It was the days of V8's, leaded petrol, carburetors and points! I was lucky enough to have worked in Dealerships where I progressed to a Service Manager in some major metro Dealerships. There a gained a strong passion for customer service.

For Services we need to know which Service the vehicle is due for. Vehicle details such as the Make, Model, Rego number, engine type and Kilometers are important to give an accurate quote.For some mechanical repairs it may be required that we inspect the vehicle before giving a quote.

As our overheads a much lower than the Dealerships, we are able to pass on these saving to our customers. In order to offer the best service possible we only use quality parts and oils and as our store is owner operated, you can rest assured that our customer retention is the number one priority.

At Ultra Tune Melton we use a Dealer Management System that provides an extensive range of vehicles loaded for logbook services.The quoting system is set to be generally 20-30% lower than Dealer prices. The system also offers flat rate times to which we quote for mechanical repairs
