Location: Burwood, VICJob Description: We have a double brickwork garage. There is a 2 cm gap between the inside and outside brickwork and no mortar filled between them. As photos show, our garage door middle chain rail is bolted directly to the internal brickwork, somehow the rail has pulled out two bricks after 19 years of use, and simultaneously some of the top levels of bricks (about 7-9 bricks) moved position. One horizontal layer of mortar between the top two layers of bricks appears to be falling off. It needs to be repaired asap. No bricks are needed but mortar. I want it to be repaired, made stronger and safer.
