Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Yes we are a fully insured business and have all the required safety certificates and give a 7 year warranty on all our work, most cracks come from foundation movement with cracks through the brickwork which render can not hold them together.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I got into rendering and solid plastering because my brother had me help him on weekends and I fell in love with being outdoors and doing something with my hands.

We did a repair to the front facade and in the front entrance way was five piers that we rendered in a very smooth finish then applied a rust effect, they came up amazing the customers were thinking about selling once these items were finished but when it was all completed they decided to stay and enjoy for another year.

The thing I like most about my job is the variety of jobs it entails from quoting to solid plastering and seeing the difference a coat of render can do to an old brick wall.

What is better sand and cement or acrylic render? Sand and cement is great when done properly but can be brittle where as acrylic render has come a long way and has more adhesion and is a cheaper alternative.

The areas that are to be rendered (square meters we can measure), what type of finish they want, if any window/ doors are to be changed and if they want any new lights fitted.

To save money before we start the customers need to have a clear idea of what they want, have all areas cleared eg bushes any old lights or down pipe brackets and to know what colour they want render finished in!

We normally charge per square meter but this can vary for small jobs as not all jobs can be measured the same ranging from letterboxes to multi level building with scaffold to factor in.

We specialise in lightweight wall cladding and application of acrylic renders and textures, we also have a great range of feature wall products from polished concrete to rust effects.
