I recently purchased a new heat pump dryer and would like the hose installed to the waste pipe under my sink. The hose connection seems to be too small for the waste pipe and falls out.

Water fills automatically - no leaks.

However once the water tank is full, the valve doesn't stop. It keeps on filling the tank with water (slowly) so the excess water overflows to the toilet bowl.
