When you start building computers for fun on your kitchen table as a teenager, way before the first IBM PC was launched, your future is fairly mapped out!  Similarly our Graphic Designer has never been anything but an artist.  I guess we're made that way!

Yes! Whether it's rescuing an unloved website or creating a logo, writing educational software or creating templates for Word, Powerpoint or Xero, designing book covers or signs and leaflets, it boils down to pretty much the same quote from them, time and again:  "We wish we'd come to you first!"

Solving problems, helping people, and creating something unique.  It's great being able to say "Oh, we can do that for you!" when a client tells you no-one else has been able to help them - and even better when we can say "There you go, job done!".

"How long can you spare to talk about ...?" - make sure they're paying attention to you, not just palming you off with a quick quote so they can get the easy money then leave you high and dry.  "What have I not asked you that I should have asked you?" - make sure they've no room to tack on 'extras'.

"How much will it cost to ...?"  To answer that we should probably talk with you first to make sure we understand what you want to achieve, and what the best way to help you is.  That way you get everything up front, with no hidden extras later on because you didn't know what to ask for.

We don't let people down. We're building our reputation on getting things done where others have failed!    One of the most common phrases we hear from our clients is "We wish we'd come to you first!"  Don't be like them - come to us first!

• Have a clear idea of what you want to achieve rather than what you want done.  • Do your own research - make a list of what you admire or dislike about your competitor's websites.  • Know your limits - are you more profitable doing your own job well, or building a website?
