Have a clear understanding of what you would like done, to save in the planning process.  Buying your own materials doesn't always mean your getting a better price, often our suppliers will better the big name hardwares.  Prepare what you need done ie have any demolition work already completed.

I will price your job based on honesty, not with profit in mind and will ensure that the task at hand is completed promptly with a high attention to detail finish.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

Each job is unique and requires different measures of estimation. For example a simple 10 square meter deck can vary between $1,000.00 to $3,000.00 simply based on the materials used and the end detail the client is wishing to achieve.   If working on an hourly rate basis it will vary between $60.00 per hour to $80.00, team rates can be supplied also providing labourers, apprentices on day rate.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Going through my apprenticeship I spent much of my time working on the renewal of bathrooms and kitchens, with a balance of work including outdoor decking and living areas being my fundamental best areas.

Qualified carpenter experienced in working on large builds, small renovations and additions, right down to the smaller custom aspect of carpentry with many decks, screens and pergolas.  Another key area of our expertise is custom joinery and internal hardwood works. Specialising in furniture throughout the home.
