l cant remember over the many years of mowing that we have had a problem with a client, but there was a client that wanted us to cut the grass lower next time and thats ok but that client had 2 big dogs that pooed everywhere and because of OH&S we did the best we could and after explaining this to the customer, she understood and laughed, she forgot what her dogs can do.....

What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

We are reliable and trustworthy because we work with the client. If we cant make an appointment due to rain or breakdown, we would SMS the client to let them know.  We will not mow a property just for the sake of mowing, like some companies but we will SMS the client to see if they need the lawns mowed or leave it for another week.

Daves mowing has been in business for many years and we have learned what the customer needs and wants. Not only a good price but quality. We start at a budget price of just $30, you just cant go wrong with that.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Accepted Answer

That they live in the area that you service. What service are they requesting. If there are any animals on site. If poisioning is needed, their animals need to be away from that area for 24 hours. And payment needs to be COD or other arrangements made.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

A customer can save money if they want to whipper snip there own property (2) They can remove any objecs, toys, bits of rubbish on the grass area to be mowed (3) If there car is parked on the nature strip, it would save time to park it on the street one house space up to avoid any grass going onto the car

To Onefare customers we offer an $30 weed piosioning deal with every mow and whipper snip service, we also charge no extra for blowing out grass from all pathways to make the property look wonderful.

What makes your pricing competitive?

Our prices are different because we cater for the client. They can have a budget property service which could be the front of the property maintained and later the back yard attended to. By using our ride on mower, this cuts mowing time and therefore reduces the cost to the client.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

Service normally done by a on site quote. We have always felt that over the phone quotes can lead to misunderstandings etc, so we meet the client and see exactly what they are after. We have found for years that this system works out perfectly.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We specialise in the mowing side of things, including whipper snipping (square cut) either small mower or our ride on mower, and we blow off all grass clippings on path ways, driveways etc. We also weed poison for Free if a customer purchases and basic package deal

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have had training through a skills agency, but you cant beat hands on experience and know how. With many years of experience behind us (wife and l) we have streamlined the mowing business to ride on mowers which are quick and so we pass on the savings to the customer.
