Yes yes yes. Domestic Goddess is insured.  We absolutely do guarantee the work we do. If you are not satisfied with the work that has been done, we will come back and go over it again!

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I worked for a commercial cleaning company called Consolidated Cleaning in my early 20's. I liked the flexible hours & the responsibility of alarming all the government buildings.

What do you like most about your job?

I love standing back seeing the difference I've made in a house. Sometimes I don't know where to start. It's very rewarding and satisfying and I feel a sense of pride when such a transformation occurs.

Yes we supply an invoice for end of lease agreements to get bond back.  Yes we clean anything you have, there is no job to disgusting. We just charge you more! We do all the jobs nobody wants to do.  Yes we do windows :)

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

For a quote to be accurate we need to know the size of the home and what is required in the clean.  Generally every part of the house needs attention whether it be a quick wipe over or a bit of a scrub! Basically the bigger the house the longer it takes to clean!

Please pick up any clothing and toys. Have your kitchen tidy and wash any dishes.  It is easier to clean floors when they are clear.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Our services are charged at an hourly rate starting from $35 per hour for local residential cleaning. Travel outside the local area incurs a slightly higher rate $45. Infectious control and specialised services also incur higher hourly rates up to $70ph. I welcome any questions you may have.

Hi, my name is Robyn. I have been in the cleaning industry for 15 years. I have Cert III in commercial cleaning and Cert IV in disability. This allows me to work in home care situations, with clients with disabilities and I specialise with hoarders.
