How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I am an active person who loves being outdoors whether working or on holidays. I do like to make a difference and get a lot of satisfaction when customers are happy with the results of my work. I love flowering plants and my own garden is generally a good advertisement for my services. I am actually happy to give potential customers my address to inspect my own garden work and to talk them through it if they so desire.

Yes I do, a new customer engaged me a couple of years ago to inspect his current garden in Hawthorn. He already had a gardener who visited fortnightly. I suggested removal of certain plants and replacing them with other attractive, but low maintenance plants. In addition, I put in a dripper system and mulched all of the garden beds. My work was praised by the customer and neighbours and the ongoing maintenance visits reduced significantly.

I do like working outside and in particular I do get a high rate of job satisfaction by seeing the result of my work and having the customer being pleased and satisfied with the job. In addition, I also enjoy meeting and interacting with my customers.
