Whilst the company was only established in 2013 under our current structure, our dedicated team has generations of combined industry experience. Capabilities include: Advice on options for repairs and renovations with a focus on cost effective solutions. Camp maintenance – external building maintenance, room and fit out maintenance, roofing maintenance, painting, concreting, services maintenance - electrical, plumbing, and cabling. Grounds and landscaping maintenance. Site building maintenance. Insurance and storm damage repairs. Demolition and refit services. House maintenance – all maintenance needs covered. Food retailer maintenance. Industrial building maintenance. Fit out repairs and refurbishment. Minor through to major rebuilds and refits. Emergency and short notice maintenance call outs. All trade services are delivered by qualified tradespeople and licensed contractors. Pre-sale home preparations. EQUIPMENT 2 x light trucks that are CSG site spec’d. Bobcats and excavators. Scaffolding up to 4m. Hand tools and equipment for building and maintenance tasks. Generators, concrete cutters, chainsaws and other various power tools. IPads and iPhones for field communication and tracking work. The team uses photos of finished work as part of the reporting on outcomes or progress. NETWORK OF CAPABILITIES Emmit Builders works with a team of experienced contractors and staff who comply with the company’s quality, safety, environmental and risk management standards. Based on longstanding relationships throughout Queensland, Emmit Builders can deploy teams to regional and remote locations and deliver high quality outcomes with high standards of safety. Emmit Builders is prequalified under the CM3 Safety Management System and also has WPCG accreditation necessary for high risk sites. Emmit Builders is a member of the Queensland Master Builders Association and uses Master Builders work management, safety and risk management systems. The company has strong relationships with suppliers of materials for building and maintenance projects. Emmit Builders uses the Master Builders work management systems and contracts for all of its work. They are also a long standing member of the HIA Association. The company employs 3 to 7 core staff and up to 40 subcontractor tradesman. Skilled staff include carpenters, electricians, painters, plumbers, concreter’s, glaziers, tilers and construction workers. Emmit Builders employs apprentices and has an ongoing program of skills development including toolbox talks and safety updates. The company has a policy of employing local contractors for projects arounds Australia and providing them with necessary industry training that benefits local communities.
