  The deck were not nailed properly and so many missing nails on the timber which caused the timer has no enough support and when you are walking on the timber, you feel the timber is going to be broken. The artificial grass was not edged properly in enough nails so all the edges were coming out. All the unfinished work were advised and taken pictures for him to complete and he has advised he would come to fix up on one weekend since May; however he never turned up as the money was paid in full and due to Covid lockdown delay i have called up him today but he was not taking phone calls but just texted me because those are "pine" designed in installation without nails in pieces, but not like Marble ???? can anyone believe such a RIDICULOUS and IRRESPONSILE excuses ? so pinewood can't have Nails on ?? he just ignored and rejected all phone calls and messages i tried to contact him. we ended up to hire another professional to fix up the issues and will have to lodge VCAT to ask the reimbursement. A dodgy and irresponsible business is not ever recommended by anyone at all

  Happy and satisfied with my decking work and deck lights. Jack was prompt with communication and his team along with Jack finished the work on time. I just hope if I encounter any issues at all down the line, Jack would be prompt to get onto it and fix it.

  Decking was completed on time as discussed. Workmanship was of good standard. However, need to follow up on everything and every item after that for rest of the landscaping work. Initially agreed to complete the work in 10 days and it is almost 3 months now and still some minor finishing work left. Artificial turf laid down in hurry and finishing is not great as effectively 50 % of the nails were put in place and turf is moving. Requested to come and fix those things and Kept doing the follow-up for 4 weeks still has not turned up as the job is very minor and only 2 hr job. Very poor communication and frustrating to deal with. I have done lot of things on my own post landscaping work, probably might end up doing the remaining work by myself. My experience started very positively and ending was really not at all great.

  We engaged Jack to build a deck and pergola in our backyard. Jack was very professional from the outset - arrived on time, discussed and recommended a few options and provided a quote that was very reasonable in comparison to the few others we had. His knowledge of the subject and the Victorian laws for external construction was immaculate. He also has a very skilled and multi-faceted team that is adept in not just working efficiently but also being flexible. When the decking was finalised it exceeded all our expectations in terms of quality of work, materials used and speed of delivery. As a result, what started off as just 1 project, expanded to several other projects immediately after, such as complete garden landscaping, picket fence installation and other outdoor and indoor home improvements, which were all completed by Jack and his team in time and to our satisfaction. Jack is very customer focused and goes out of his way to ensure that we' are happy. He kept us in the loop at all times and communicated any road blocks early with clear resolution paths. We were very impressed with the final outcome of these projects and will definitely be going back to Jack and JJ Gardening in the near future!
