We have Public Liability Insurance, Professional indemnity Insurance, for both our Architectural section and our building construction division.  We guarantee our work.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Ever since childhood it has always been my dream to be an architect and builder. To build innovative and creative designs, but that always reflect my clients wishes.

To give our clients a project, which fulfils the way they envisages to live in their home. Which reflects their live style and a building that still meets all their needs many years onwards. And a building that increases in value due to the good design and workmanship.

What are the qualifications and experience of the professional. In addition how are designs and documentation produced and the time line of the proposed project, for design and construction.

Generally customers ask: "How much".  Our answer is,  that until we know the exact requirements and  the extend of the work involved, e.g  difficult town planning applications might need several consultations with Council, it is very difficult to give an accurate price.

Our personal integrity and refusing to do short cuts in either documentation or building construction. We carefully check sub contractors that they are properly qualified and registered.

We have years of experience, both in design and construction. We revel in providing solutions for even the most difficult projects. We are totally customer oriented and provide all the care and service we consider our clients deserve.

1. Accurate site address, so we can check council requirements for their neighbourhood. 2. A realistic wish list of requirements. 3. Advice from their bank or finance advisor how much they can borrow.

Prepare a wish list of "Must haves", "Desirables" . Determine priorities and available budget and finance.  In the case of renovations and extensions obtain real estate agent advice how much can be spend in order to not over capitalise.

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?

We have 3 Special Offers at $660, for design advice on new builds, renovations and extensions and town planning applications. The client gets 2.5 hour consultation on site, with one of our principals. The session includes taking the brief, analysing the requirements, scope of works and broadly the type of style the client envisages.  During the consultation a rough concept design is outlines and a broad estimate of costs.

What makes your pricing competitive?

We charge a fair price for our work. We concentrate on good design with accurate drawings. And as builders we insist that all contractors deliver first class work. When we design we make sure we detail the most economical way of building. For our clients the work that is done in the design and documentation stages might cost slightly more in comparison with competitors, but they save money in the end as we do not take shortcuts.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We determine the amount of work involved and the degree of difficulty and charge accordingly. Once price is determined the amount is fixed. No add-ons unless the client wants changes when documentation is completed.

I am a Fellow registered Architect of the Australian Institute of Architects and a Registered DB - U builder, member of the MBA. I have years of experience in design and building, here and in many countries overseas.
