Yes we do have public liability insurance and we don't leave until you are happy the task has been performed to your satisfaction, that is our guarantee.

We got into this line of work as we are old school, bought up on the farm, loving the outdoor work, moved to the city, became chefs, burnt out and returned to our roots (work wise),

We have meet a lot of great people doing this kind of work, its hard to single out a favourite.  We take care of all our customers, many have now become regulars.

We like working for ourselves, working outdoors and seeing the before and after. We find this kind of work rewarding

Customers may wish to ask the service professional, what area they are in, as this would give an indication on reliability.  No use hiring someone who lives an hour away, to come mow a lawn, cost of travel along wouldn't make the job feasible.

Customers most commonly asked question is "When can we do the job" in these instances, we work with the customer on a time that suits them best, we are flexible.

Anyone can say they are trustworthy and reliable, I'm not sure how one proves that.  You are welcome to check out our Facebook page, it has examples of our work.  Transparency such as this shows we have nothing to hide and in fact wish to show off our capabilities.

I'm not sure why you should hire us over our competitors, I can't say, we are better than them.  I can only say, we are an honest, hardworking couple, we leave only when you are satisfied.

We need to know your locating, if anyone will be home, mobile number if not.  We need to know if there are any dogs.  We need to be clear on the task.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

Accepted Answer

Don't accept the first quote.  Take a small business over a more established business, they have less overheads and can offer a better price.  Allow the ground maintenance person to quote on site not over the phone, this way there is not misunderstandings.

90% of the time, we are selected because of our pricing, we believe this makes us competitive.  We don't have an hourly rate, we quote on the job.

We can give some unseen quotes over the phone, as we have been doing this for some time, however we prefer to view the job then provide a price.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

We specialise in mowing lawns, although we do hedges, trimming, edging, spraying and pruning.  We have also do a bit of landscaping, preparing surfaces for paving, laid turf and but down small trees.

We mow lawns and such, theres no certificate for that, however,  we been doing it for 10 years with no complaints.
