Kitchen Design Victoria has a public liability insurance policy for $10 million. We guarantee all our kitchens for 10 years regardless of the price range a client chooses whether it be a $4000 or $30000 kitchen the same guarantee applies

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I always had a flare and passion for design. When I was thrown into the deep end of kitchen design and sales I quickly discovered that it is a everlasting feeling when you know you have achieved something others weren't able to achieve until you solved the problem for the client. Through helping out friends and family in getting them a kitchen from other suppliers that I knew, I decided it was time to have my own kitchen business helping people out with their kitchens and having a better control of the final result

Dear Geoff and Mick,  (Apologies Mick - I've just had an email sent to you returned from your wrong address. Hopefully this is the right one!) I have wanted to write to you both for many weeks now to thank you so very much for the design and project management of the kitchen at  Moor Street, Fitzroy. Without the marvellous organisation and management of you both I know the job would never have been done within the very narrow time-frame that was available.  And in fact you exceeded all my expectations by completing the job one day ahead of schedule.  All of the tradies were always on time and did an excellent job.  However, I have to say the tiler's work was exceptional and he actually returned in the evening in order to finish a section of the work to meet his own particular high standards. What do you like most about your job?

We are passionate about kitchen design and that fact the kitchen is the heart of every home. It feels special to leave a thumb print on someone's home especially the kitchen. To see the kitchen transformed from an old tired kitchen to something that both the customer and we are happy with is a great reward for the work we do. To have so may satisfied customers is wonderful and makes doing kitchens more of a joy than a chore.

Why are we so cheap? We explain to our clients that because we don't have a showroom and a lot our kitchens are made in bulk we are able to pass these discounted rates to our clients. Which in turn makes us one of the most competitive kitchen companies in Melbourne.

We do not over promise our turn around times. We explain in detail how long a kitchen project takes with us and have never not delivered on time in the past. If a client wishes to do a search on us they will see that we have great reviews about our service from past customers and can be assured that we won't let them down

We need to know how soon a client wants a new kitchen. Has the client got any idea of the type of kitchen they are wanting. Has the client got a budget in mind that they would like us to work with.

First tip is that a client can remove the kitchen themselves Second tip is that a client could buy their appliance through us Third tip is that a client can choose door finishes from our stock ranges

We have no showroom and therefore don't have the burden of expenses in running a showroom. As a result we are able to pass on a discounted rate for a new kitchen to our clients.

We charge for our service only when a client has agreed to the design created by one of our friendly design team and they accepted our quote for doing the kitchen for them.

We specialize in new kitchens. The majority of our work is kitchen renovations, although we do have some new home builders that we do work for. We also cater a lot for budget type kitchens particularly the rental market.

We have over 25 years experience in the building industry. We do over 100 kitchens per year. We bring our showroom to your doorstep. A single visit to your home will allow for a complete design solution and quotation.
