Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

I do guarantee my work. If you're not happy with the end result I will refund any deposit given. I do ask however that you consider revisiting the brief created before terminating the project. In most cases, there is normally a miscommunication in the brief, or not enough detail was given.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I have been interested in the Arts and Graphic Design since my early years of High School. I have always had a creative flair and I thoroughly enjoy the day to day variation of the Graphic Design Industry!

Every day is different. You never get the same project twice and you deal with some amazing people who provide a lot of inspiration and knowledge! I wouldn't work in any other field.

As my business is a sole trader/operator, you deal with one person; me. There is nothing lost in the transition from sales to design and you deal with one person from start to finish!

LADesign provides quality Graphic Design services at a fraction of the cost of other designers. LADesign prides itself on it's ability to relate to their clients, speaking plain English (not Tech speak).

I need to know the following things to improve the accuracy of the quote; 1. Your target market. 2. What you do. 3. The size and requirements of the project, and; 4. The key objectives of the project you are requesting.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1. Be as clear and concise as possible when speaking to your designer about what you need. It is important that the design goes through a "design brief" process with you so that you are both on the same page. 2. If you don't like what you're hearing, don't follow through with that designer. Your gut instinct is generally right. If you think you're getting ripped off, you probably are. 3. Never underestimate the power of good design. Good design may cost you that little extra, but as an investment, it will recoup much more than what you paid for it, indirectly.

What makes your pricing competitive?

Accepted Answer

I keep my costs as low as possible, which means less costs to be passed onto the customer. I also keep my hourly rate very reasonable and offer any additional hours spent on the project free of charge (within 15% extra of the hours quoted).

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

I charge per hour, however in the initial quote, I set how many hours it should take to complete the job. Additional hours spent on the project (within reason) are free of charge.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I specialise in Logo design and Website predominantly. However I am capable of providing Photography services as well as Business Stationary design and Posters/Advertising design.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have both sales and marketing experience in selling and promoting websites. I have two years of study under my belt specific to Graphic Design. I also have years of experience in Customer Service roles, so I am very familiar in dealing with the public.
