How did you decide to get into your line of work?

As a child I enjoyed working with cars and fixing problems. I enjoyed helping my dad in the garage to fix his cars. My passion for mechanical grew as I got older and I knew this was the field I would succeed in.

What do you like most about your job?

I enjoy getting up every morning to do what I enjoy best, which is to fix customers vehicle issues. Get there cars running as good as new.  It is a passion I have enjoyed since I was a young child.

It is good to ask a lot of questions, especially when you do not understand well in the automotive industry. A mechanic should always give you answers in a clear and concise manner, they should make you feel comfortable with what they are doing.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

Some questions we regularly get off customers include: 1. How much is it going to cost and what will it need? Every car is inspected by one of our qualified mechanics before we proceed, we then run through the quote with the customer and explain to them in an understanding matter.

Our customers here at M C Auto Service Centre are loyal due to the fact they leave with a thorough understanding on what has been fixed. Our qualified mechanics have that interaction with our customers to explain in concise manner what needs to be replaced and/or repaired. They run through it all with you and if you have any questions they are happy to answer them.  Another reason for our customers returning to M C Auto Service Centre is our reasonable pricing, we do not lump our customers with a huge bill at the end of completing our service, it is all discussed before the work is commenced.  If you come to us with a quote, we are also happy to beat it.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Before we quote our customers, we require their vehicle to be inspected by one our fully qualified mechanics. Sometimes customers may think its one thing when it may be a total different issue, therefore we like to go over the vehicle, we then go through the problem or problems with our customers in a clear and concise manner, so our customers know what needs to be replaced and/or repaired and also have an understanding of what it is that needs to be done. A quote is then given based on what was found.
