The best way to save on money before we come to provide you with a free quote would be to look at your garden see what is an urgent job and what can be left or possibly carried out at a later date. It always helps to write a list. If you are able to anything that may need to be removed from the property have them in piles for easy removal, but please do not place in plastic bags. Be open to other suggestions that may not be exactly how you thought you want it carried out but it will achieve the exact same result in the end, different methods to the end result vary in prices.
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
Generally we require a few things from clients when arranging to come and provide a free quote, thier address to ensure that it is the correct area for which we work, we also require the type of work that is need on your property such as, lawn mowing or weeding or a complete garden clean up. We also request if the there is a deadline for which the works need to be completed by, with some very busy periods this really helps, so we can let you know if we can allocate you a day or part day to complete the work. Realistically we will always try to have your job carried out by the date you need it done by.
What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?
1. How long do you think it will take?
A: We give an estimated time that it will take, but if you are concerned about the cost dont, the quote is for the job and not the time spent.
2.Do you take away all of the waste as my previous gardener use to leave it?
A: Yes, we take all green waste away with us and this cost is included in on the quote at a very small add on. We keep this cost low to provide you with the best possible quote.
3. Do you have an hourly fee?
A. No we dont charge by the hour, we give an overall quote which includes the job, gst and waste removal. The quote we provide does not change even if it takes us twice as long as we thought to complete. The only reason the quote will change would be if the original accpeted quote changed.
4.Can you do extra work if i forgot to ask in the original quote?
A. Yes we can do extra but this will be at an added cost.
5. Do you carry out monthly maintenance?
A. Yes we can carry out a monthly maintenance, which will be tailored specifically for what your garden requires and we will provide you with a 6 month lot of dates.
