Andrew Young, our founder and director, graduated from the first batch of building degree students in 1991 from Curtin University where he continued his career with John Holland Construction and was involved with the construction of many iconic projects around Perth such as the Barrack Street Jetty Development, Kings Park Restaurant and Cafè Development, UWA Agricultural Building and Garden City Extensions. He went overseas in 1996 with Leighton Contractors where he went on to build and manage numerous projects in Malaysia, Indonesia, the Middle East and Hong Kong. On his return to Perth in 2010, as a licensed builder, he quickly established a reputation and building company under the MZ Construction banner, focused on new homes and multi-house developments. His broad experience and grounding in both the domestic and international building industry gave Andrew an exceptional understanding of all facets of building. This, combined with his personal approach and ability to think outside the box, has provided him with a constant stream of projects through word of mouth. As we continue to grow, Andrew is dedicated to continue to provide an intimate and personalized service with his clients without ever comprising our core values of quality, on time and within budget.
