We are fully insured for public and product liability. We will guarantee our work if we are at fault and we are always happy to work with the customer if they are unhappy with our works in any way. We want to walk away from each job knowing that our clients are happy and that is a big priority to us.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I started working in the landscaping industry after i finished school at 18 years old. what started out as just a job turned into a passion and a career and i haven't looked back since. Landscape gardening is what i have always done and what i will continue to do.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

One job that will always stick with me was when a mother who had been diagnosed with cancer contacted me to fix her back yard and add a paved area. She wanted her kids to have an area in the back yard that they could relax in and hang out with their friends. It was a job that had meaning and still till this day every time a drive past her house i think of her and wonder if her kids enjoy that area as much as she hoped for.

What do you like most about your job?

The outdoors. I have always been an outdoors person never one to sit still for too long. I enjoy the satisfaction of seeing my clients happy when they come home to a freshly mowed lawn, a tidy yard or a new backyard all together.

1. What are their qualifications or certifications? A good landscaper should be certified showing their commitment to excellence.  2. How much experience do they have in the industry? Experience is essential in getting the job done correctly. having someone who is inexperienced complete your works could cost you money in the long run if the works haven't been completed correctly.  3. What insurances do they have?

I would consider myself and the standards of my business to be honest and reliable at all times. I have built relationships with my clients based on exactly that. I value my clients greatly they are not just a number to me they are people, they are friends they are the basis of my business so building that level of trust and  ensuring that their needs are meet is essential to our business.

Landscape gardening isn't just a job to me its a passion. I hold a high regard to my quality of work and when i do something i do it with the intentions of doing it right at all times regardless of the job size. Landscape gardening is all i have ever done and with that comes a certain amount of knowledge. I enjoy all aspects of my job from a simple lawn mow to a complete garden renovation.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1.Choose plants carefully. Avoid impulse buys. Make sure you have an appropriate spot for a plant before you purchase it. Otherwise, you may end up watching it die. Certain plants can outgrow an area impacting on both your house foundation and garden and cost you further unnecessary expenses in the future. Select species that grow naturally in your region to avoid such costs as extra watering, pampering through winter, and soil correction.   2. Use mulch in your gardens. Simply using mulch can save you money. A layer of mulch helps the soil hold moisture better, so you have to water less. Organic mulches break down over time and improve your soil, so you spend less on fertilizer. Plus, mulches cut down on weeds, so you won't have to purchase weed killers as often.  3. Landscape in phases. Few people have the financial resources to landscape their property all at once. Divide your project into phases, and pay as you go with funds on hand. You'll save on loan or credit costs and be able to evaluate your progress and adjust plans before moving to the next phase.

How do you normally charge for your service?

I prefer to look at all jobs and quote on them first hand before pricing as this ensures fair and accurate charges for all parties. My hourly rate for garden and landscaping works is $45 an hour. Mowing and maintenance is priced upon inspection of the property.

I have 10 years experience in the Landscape and Garden industry and hold a certificate 3 in landscape and construction. I started of as a laborer after finishing school and worked my way up to second in charge. I held the same job for 9 years before opening my own business.
