How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I carried out work experience when I was younger, enjoyed it so much that I decided to take on an apprenticeship and eventually did my A Grade and became and Electrical Contractor.

What do you like most about your job?

Accepted Answer

The challenge of being able to wire an existing property without any damage and finishing the job looking fantastic and the customer being happy.

Why should a customer hire you over another service provider?

Accepted Answer

I am prompt, reliable and provide a professional service.  I have many years experience and take a large amount of pride in my work.  I have a large happy clientele base.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

It is all dependable on the job for example: What condition the switchboard is in Access Are the walls cavity Is the house brick or weatherboard Address of house What are the dimensions.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Accepted Answer

I normally send an invoice to my client although cash on the day is preferable.  It depends on various different jobs and the time allowed etc etc.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

Accepted Answer

I specialise mainly in local domestic jobs, although I do have quite a lot of experience working in schools, factories, light industrial, brand new houses, shops, renovations and commercial businesses.
