I guarantee my wk is to a high level of workmanship as set out in Australian standards and I happily encourage inspection by tilers assoc, or building group that has the specific understanding of my trade. I embrace every chance to hone my craft. I give up to ten year guarantee on workmanship and i am fully insured should the unspeakable arise.

What do you like most about your job?

I like taking a clients vision and turning it into a beautiful, functional and sound reality to then be rewarded by the joy and relief on their face.  I also enjoy taking the journey with the client from creation to completion.

Ask if workmanship is guaranteed and for how long.  Ask for references. Can they do task required in time required for price required.  Do they have required licencing/insurance

How much do you charge? Price varies due to tile type, tile lay/pattern. Quantity of tile. Area to be tiled. And state of substratum. extras include things such as screed, brick, render and waterproofing. How long will job take? This is dependent on all the above factors but an estimation will be given with quote then a timeline provided upon acceptance of quote .

Ethics makes good business. I will always respect you, your property and your requests/requirements. Communication is my priority. Your elation at the finished product is my goal. Great reviews are my pay day.  I can back this by supplying references and jobs to view as necessary.. It doesn't take long talking to me to gain a sense of my knowledge,integrity and genuineness.

What and where is to be tiled Ie. Bathroom, main floor, . The state and type of substratum. Ie stud frame brick. . What type of tile and quantity , is screeding, bricking, waterproofing, stripout or repairs needed.

My experience allows a clean, neat job done efficiently. I can deliver in good time therefore cost effective, incl waste saving, time saving, peace of mind and client feeling they got good value . I also keep my overheads low and have access to quality materials at reasonable rates.

Domestic renovations are one of the trickiest, tho rewarding aspects of tiling. A thorough knowledge of building methods and their progression over 60-70 yrs is essential.  Thiis knowledge alongside my skill in preparation is. Render, brickups, screed makes renovations one of my forte Therefore the more tricky aspects of my trade is what i enjoy.  Porcelain floors are another of my skill sets

Being self taught (learn on the job) due to lack of trade training for tilers 20yrs ago, my years as skipper/pearl diver allow me to deal with adversity and taught me resourcefulness . I have also worked along side and for many skilled tradesmen and accomplished high end builders. I am always up to date with trade practices as set out by australian standards and advances in products and materials.
