Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Accepted Answer

Yes we are fully insured for $20,000,000.00 damages of public liability. We guarantee our work for 6 months plus any rights of warranties the customer has at law. ie 12 months for parts/labour of appliances etc

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Are you licenced for this type of work? Trade qualified? Have correct insurances?  I accept its abit arkward for a customer to ask these types of questions, sneaky way to do it is look on their website etc or business card, if you cant find an "EC" number AND an ABN i'd steer clear of them.

Why do some of my LED down lights flicker? Because if they were swaped over from original bulbs; in most cases the downlight transformer is not capable to power LED downlights, because normal downlights are 12V AC where as LED ones are 12V DC, and only work with DC power, AC will make them flicker

I am a new business but been in the trade for 10 years and being reliable and trustworthy is paramount to my self, the customer and my business and rightly so every one deserves to be looked after and not taken for a ride by rogue rips!

We pride our selves on honest, good quality workmanship, we have great prices too and dont charge to quote or charge a call out fee like many do, we also offer EFTPOS and credit card facilities for your convenience, all our work is full covered under our insurance and has a 6 month guarantee. :)

We need to know (who will supply the parts/goods/appliance(s)) you or us? so we can quote accordingly. Exactly what you would like done?, so we can quote over the phone to make things easier and quicker. where/location and how many (ie power points) you want or if they will be NEW installs or no

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1.Try reseting the RCD/Circuit Breaker (if safe to do so), might just be a surge triped it. 2. If a circuit keeps tripping (i.e kitchen circuit) unplug every thing in the kitchen then reset the RCD, as it may be one faulty appliance causing the trip, 3. If a "brown out" occurs switch off mains ASAP

Our prices are based off market research and are the current average prices "going rate" for the area and current economy, as with all pricing, things change with time, the economy and CPI. As a Master Electricians member, we have access to latest and accurate pricing schedules for our industry.

Most jobs are quoted and a fixed price, that way its good and fair for the customer so they know what they are going to pay, if I need alittle extra time, I tell the customer, but if some thing major pops up, we revisit the quote that is understandable Fault finding is capped at $180.00 (if needed)

We do work in all facets of the trade, but do specialise in highly efficient technologies and LED lighting, also in air conditioning and heating, and specialise in power quality and motors/bores just to name a few.

I have over 15 years experience in the electrical industry and have been in domestic, commercial and industrial/mining fields and thus have vast knowledge as a result, I also am licenced to service and install most kinds of airconditioning and evaporative units.
