Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we are insured with $10m public liability cover.  We hope you will never need it but it covers any damage we might be liable for as a result of the work we do.  We also have  astraight forward guarantee - we will do it right the first time or we will come back and fix it at no cost to you.

My customers - I work with some great people who appreciate the service I offer. Any business is about relationships and i work hard to make sure we have regular, meaningful conversations so I understand what you want and you can easily tell me of any changes you need.

This is my business and I want your regular work.  therefore I will do what I say I am going to do.  if I tell you I will be there on a particular day - I will be there or arrange another time BEFORE I am due if for some reason I cannot mow (E.G. Rain)

As an owner operator we can supply a great service every time. As part of a reputable and award winning sytem you can be assured of consistency of service. We will tailor a service to suit your needs....and then do it!

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

It's pretty straight forward - all we need to know is how long it is since the last mow, how often do you want the lawn mowed and the size of the lawn. We can do all of this when we quote the lawn

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1. Clear the lawn so we do not need to move things - this will keep the regular price down 2. Chain or lock away the dog.....we love dogs but sometimes they do not love us! 3. Get the lawn mowed regularly with about 1/3 being taken off the grass each time - this allows for a great looking lawn

What makes your pricing competitive?

While we need to have a profitable business we also believe that our regular pricing is about mid market. This means you get the best possible service at a reasonable price.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Each mow is quoted separately and we will give you a set price to mow the lawns, trim the edges and blow the paths.  We will also suggest the best frequency and are happy to adjust this according to what each seasons weather does.

SelectLawnMowing training is comprehensive and covers all aspects of the work we complete. I have also been doing this work for over 5 years now and am familiar with all aspects of lawn maintenance.
