Trade qualified boilermaker that has work in many areas of the industry from civil to structural, residential and commercial light and heavy fabrication

Onsite structural manual metal arc welding (stick) to AS 1554 standard multiple positions, also erection and deconstruction, repairs and modifications
How do you normally charge for your service?
$85 ph plus travel and consumables which is a fair price in the market but can also quote jobs large and small
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
Provide as much information regarding the project, providing steel and or consumables, having detailed drawings that are signed off by an engineer
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
Size and nature of the project undertaking, materials required and whether power and access to the job are available to me
What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?
I have a great reputation on other services online, I have repeated work with customers and references that can vouch for my workmanship, efficiency and time management
What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy the satisfaction of providing my customers with a great service and seeing them happy when a project is complete and on or under their budget requirements
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
I was working in a hardwood timber mill stacking timber when I was 15 and when we had a breakdown I would see maintenance workers come out and spend time fixing the problems. So I asked if I could come in on Saturdays for free to learn about welding and fabrication and have been hooked ever since.
What makes your pricing competitive?
I have worked with two other reputable mobile welding companies which I have learnt a lot from, I have developed good steel suppliers and have a had a good year and a half learning how to price my work
