Fully insured and guarantee my work.  If you are not 100% satisfied, I will work with you to rectify the problem until you are.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I like working outdoors, and started part time doing a couple of jobs a night after I finished my factory job, as I became busier I started full time, and since have continued to grow

There are so many...probably the big overgrown jobs with weeds as tall as me that are transformed with regular mowing and maintenance and eventually look good , which transforms the customers world.

I like being my own boss and the flexibility that comes with that.  I enjoy working in different places everyday and meeting new people.

How long have you been doing this?  Are you busy?  - good operators are generally very busy because word of mouth is the best advertisement.

Usually about price, the average house mowed front and back with edging is usually between $20-50.  I try to keep my business to suburbs south of the city to reduce transport costs.

I pride myself on being on time, and if running late ( sometimes does happen) I ring the next customers to let them know.  I am totally trustworthy and can provide a National Police Clearance upon request.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Only general quotes can be given over the phone or internet.  It is much more accurate to quote in person.  All you need to provide for a free no obligation quote is to let me know you address and your availability

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

If your yard is generally tidy it is easier for me to move around and also I then don't have to spend time picking up toys etc... If you could  roll up hoses and pick up dog poo, and ensure that gates can be unlocked easily are all things that can make my job easier and therefore cheaper for you!

What makes your pricing competitive?

I am a one man business, and do not pay any administration costs as I do these jobs all myself, and can pass the savings onto my customers.  My pricing is very competitive and affordable.

How do you normally charge for your service?

The average lawn mowed front and back with edges ( done with a mechanical edger not snipped when possible ) ranges from $20-$50, although prices can vary depending also on the length of your lawn.  For other garden work I work on $30 per hour , but give pensioners a discount $25 per hour.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

I concentrate on the basics - mowing lawns and good edges.  Also hedge trimming, pruning, mulching, rubbish removal and yard tidy ups

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have two years experience running this business, and have learnt many important lessons along the way.  I am currently studying for my Certificate II in horticulture ( and intend to complete certificate III).  Also have a Bachelor of Science ( Biodiversity and Conservation) hons.
