Yes, we are insured. We work hard to ensure customer satisfaction. We also pride ourselves on finding resolutions to any issues which may come up. If it is necessary, we will even re-attend a job with no extra charge. If you aren't happy - we want to know and we want to fix it.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

Wanda started gardening when her children started school. Due to the high standard of her work, she soon had too many referrals to manage on her own. She has spent the ten years since then collecting knowledgeable, passionate people to work with her. Gardening isn't just what we do -it's part of who we are.

What do you like most about your job?

The best part about this job is the walk through at the end. You get a huge sense of satisfaction when you look around and see that underneath the overgrown jungle you had walked into earlier, there was a beautiful garden, just waiting to be found.

To find the right gardening service, you should ask a few questions: Do you take away the garden waste? What tools do you use? Do you do a lot of *insert the specific job request* What kind of clean up do you provide?

The most commonly asked question is 'Would it really take that long?', especially for large garden tidy up jobs. We work hard and fast, but the simple answer to that is yes. The simplest way to explain it is this: Picture your garden. Now pick a part of your house that is roughly the same size. How long would it take you to fully clean this area if it were as messy as your garden?

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

This really depends upon the job. For larger jobs, we prefer to do an on-site quote. We like to walk through the garden with our customers and get a detailed view of what they want to achieve. For smaller jobs, we need to know the budget. If customers don't want to have a Site Visit, they can email us photos of the areas they would like targeted.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

1. Remove any kids/ dog toys from the areas which need gardening. If we have to move them out of the way before we even start, it will add extra time on to the job. 2. Ensure we have access to the areas needed. Unfortunately we need to charge a call out fee if any gates/access ways are not unlocked. 3. Enter one of our competitions, or join our mailing list to receive discounts and special services.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We charge $60.50 per hour, per person, for gardening services.  Rubbish removal is charged at $5.00 per large garbage bag.  Further products, such as plants or mulch are quoted beforehand.

At Wanda's Weeding and Gardening we specialize in providing garden makeovers specifically tailored the the customers needs and wants. Rather than TELL our customer what they should have, we find out what kinds of plants they like and the style they want to create. We are also do 'Staged' make overs. We can break the design down into smaller jobs, spread over time, which makes it a more affordable option.
