I am an Engineer by Trade and I found in the Adelaide climate and job situation I was made redundant so decided to re-train in Horticulture and Garden Maintenance . I have worked on many gardens in the past 30 years and the last 5 years as a profession and I love it.

Yes advising a office worker who had no interest in gardening and is now growing fruit trees and vegetables and will ring me every so often for advice. Education and help doesn't cost much when someone is willing to learn.

Absolutely Love the results you see in a garden and sustaining them with not too much care and expense. Plants that can be grown from cuttings and seeing the results makes your heart sing. Working in the outdoors and making people happy and enjoy their gardens.

Maybe make sure I have good access to the yard so I can get straight on with the job in hand, also have green bin empty for garden rubbish so saves on money getting rid of pruned bushes ,trees etc, If possible get rid of any obstructions in Lawns that would slow mowing down.

I ideally like to come and look at the job at hand , but happy if prospective clients send a photo and I can quote straight away and book in a time that suits I usually charge by the hour , or on completion of the job I can quote first and Invoice later when job complete.

Plant knowledge having Cert 3 in Horticulture , not only maintaining a garden but giving you tips and advice to keep the garden thriving without costing the earth.Pruning and Lawn Care , especially keen on recycling and love the use of worm farms less waste and plants love the juice.

lots of experience in nurturing gardens for over 30 years , I decided to study Horticulture as well as having a well kept garden I wanted to learn more about plants so I obtained Horticulture Cert 3 I have been head gardener at a well known establishment also. I take pride in my work.
