• How did you decide to get into your line of work?

  I decided to get into this line of work after working at a management consulting firm for a number of years. Over the years I have had many dealings with existing computer service providers and have always been left wanting whether it was from their expertise or lack of understanding when it came to the business I was working for. This is how Happy Monkey was born, to be a disruptive power in an industry that traditionally has a lack of business understanding. This new approach has won great praise from our clients, ranging so far from heavy industry, politicians and a multi million dollar boat construction firm. • Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

  One of our customers approached us originally with no plan. All he wanted was to make affordable real upgrades to his physical and online presence. A Happy Monkey consultant, completed a detailed review of the physical location and all business processes to produce a list of improvements that could be implemented. We ended up implementing a new accounting system, computer, tablets and inventory management system . These were all connected to the companies existing website and was further integrated with eBay and Amazon. The best part of the project was getting stuck into the warehouse, helping to facilitate the remarking of the floors to designate working areas, and moving stock around to facilitate the fast sale of slow moving stock.
