Our tenants just reported that open drain below bathroom was blocked and overflowing. I will upload photos if the app allows it. 
I had a look and noticed lots of paper around, so conclude it is from sewer as could not be from bath or sink.
At first didnt notice any odour.
Toilet is flushing OK but apparently bath and sink are draining slowly.

Yesterday I installed a PTR insulation jacket on the Vulcan gas water heater at tenants house. It was a little difficult to fit on and I pulled the pressure relief switch temporarily during this. After I noticed steam coming from top of unit for longer than normal. Now there is no hot water to the house and when I came to check noticed a water leak. Have now switched off water supply and turned off gas via the temperature control dial (not main supply).
