Yes , sometimes the customer want to save money and they work as a labour and help me to clean the area and doing small lifting or moving matterial, other customer understand that working into the house that they live in,  is a difficult period of time for the noice of the tools or dusty but they are comprenhensive

Is a difficult question, I think You as a company  you have to get the correct trades and you have to know  who  are working well and keep this trades in your company and maintain a good relation  with this people, because I can say I am a good worker but for the job I am doing for your company I am not showing that I am a good trades

Normaly the customer don't know about the job, they are interesting to known when will be finish the job and I give aproximately the time I will be finish my work and I clarify that an unspected repair is not considered in the quote

I would  like to know if the customer is serious and really want to do the job, some times they can afford to spend that money  and at the same time they don't care to call 4 or 5 carpenters for the same job and at the end they don't do the job

Is  a tricky question, other trades can buy very bad material and do a badly job and quick, so consequence every body save time and money for the material. I think the customer shoud be make a list of all the small and big repair, walking around the house and complete the list of maintenance and repair, in this case the carpenter can save a time and cost of material and repair all the damage of house in one contract

I can give a customer a quote by phone, I could charge $37.50 p/h (minimol 6 hours) or $300 p/day so I can save time to go to the working place so if the customer is 100%sure to do the job I will go to see the job and make my list of material and requirements
