  When I requested 3 quotes to replace my roof gutter, One flare sent me 3 people to quote the job. I selected Aquaplumb because they were prepared to do the job using their own A frames and not hire Scaffolding, which would reduce the cost significantly. My complain is directed to (1) the TIME taken to come and do the job almost 2 months after I requested the quote. (2) Then when I asked for a quote I asked for 4 down pipes to drain the rainwater to a tank, Aquaplumb only put 2 downpipes. There was some rain the following days and I observed the overflow from the gutter releasing water. I climbed up to inspect and found water collecting away from the down pipes.I called Aquaplumb to return and fix the problem. Aquaplumb disputed that I asked for 4 downpipes be placed on the guttering. They then placed a hose in the guttering and found that my complaint was valid and placed 2 more downpipes in unusual positions on the side of the roof to catch the collection of water in the gutter. Then charged me a further cost for them to return and fix their mistake. I advise anyone using Aquaplumb to get a written quote with an outline of the job to be done along with time for the job to be completed as well as the total costing. To minimise the customers frustration (Poor Tradesmanship).
