I accepted the quote from BK&W Services for roof plumbing work which included replacing a section of guttering, a replacement shroud around a rooftop evaporative aircon unit and repointing a section of ridge capping. After being advised the job was complete it was necessary to call them back to actually complete a 1 mtr section of guttering that had a large blob of silicon in a rusted hole (tennis ball size) that was still leaking. This was, as I described to them, an ugly piece of work. This section was replaced and lamentably it was found to be leaking from 2 points. Attempts to contact BK&W services by both phone and email went unanswered for more than a week. It was necessary to do some modified repairs until a more professional plumber can be found. During their initial work I did ask for the frame around the aircon be replaced which BK&W said they would do within the existing quote. Given their standard of work I looked at this more closely and noted the existing frame had simply been painted over. No integrity at all.Alice
