Accurate description of all work to be undertaken - what is the task, is there any painting to be done once installation is complete, will a plumber be required to install taps etc. Clients time restraints and budget.

1. Have detailed drawings, sketch or an idea of work to be undertaken. 2. Provide clear access to worksite. Including easy access to power and water. 3. Removal of rubbish. For instance taking up bricks or pavers to lay decking.

Mark Johnson has a wide range of experience in all aspects of construction and renovation, which limits the need for outside trades (such as tilers or painters) keeping costs at a minimum.

Quotes are offered free of charge and pricing depends on supplies, work required, estimated time restraints and outsourcing of certain aspects. Forms of payment include bank transfers, cheques and cash.

Mark Johnson Carpentry has experienced a wide range of jobs - and is competent in producing excellent work from basic maintenance tasks (fixing squeaky doors) to full bathroom or kitchen renovations.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

Mark Johnson has worked as a carpenter since 2009. From June 2009-May 2013 he was employed as a roof carpenter, and also did other work including outdoor deck design and installation, kitchen and bathroom renovations and house finishing such as door hanging and skirting installations. From May 2013 - August 2013 and May 2014- August 2014 Mark was employed at a theatre camp in the USA where he was the Lead Carpenter and Workshop manager - responsible for the design and creation of theatre sets. The management role also required time management, delegation of tasks and liaison with suppliers and clients. Mark Johnson also worked in the landscaping industry from  October 2013 - Janurary 2014. This job was based in Toronto, Canada. Work included paving of outdoor gardens, basement renovations, creation of outdoor living spaces and deck installation.
