Yes I am insured with IMAR and I do guarantee my work if you are not happy with the service that I have provided.   I can assure you, you will have a smile on your dial when I have finished for the day !.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

When I was only 13, my Dad ran his own cleaning business and every weekend, he would ask me if I wanted to earn some extra pocket money to help him clean a huge office and factory.  I went and learnt all aspects of the trade from him.  He would give me $15.00 per week for my efforts and back then, that was a lot of money for a 13 year old.  I had the best bear collection ever !!!!

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

I had a client who ran a business away from home.  Her husband was away on business trips most of the time and she had to care for 2 small children.  On entering her home, she kept apologising for the state that it was in and I must say, I definately had my work cut out for me that very first day.  Being who I am, I love a challenge so set to work immediately.  It took me 5 hours to have her home shiny and polished.  I had managed to do 3 loads of washing, changing linen and re-making beds, I dusted, polished, vacummed, mopped, emptied bins - there was a lot to do....... That evening, I recieved a bunch of flowers and a thank-you card on my doorstep.  She could not believe her eyes that I had managed to do such a terrific job and it gave her the quality time that she needed to spend with her children for the rest of that week.

What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?

Do you guarantee your work? Are you available at short notice? Can you provide me with an invoice? Be honest about the size of your home so that when I come out to give you a free quote, I don't quote you a price that you are disappointed in. Do you have a current Police Check? Would you be able to provide me with a couple of references?

Do you provide an ironing service?  Oh yes I do because I love to iron. Do I clean the "extras" such as light switches, skirting boards, the lint filter in the dryer, cobwebs from the ceiling?  Oh yes I do because it's the little things that always get overlooked. Am I ok to change beds and do laundry? Of course, they just go with the job. Would I clean inside of cupboards?  Yes definately because every house needs to be srping cleaned every 3 months or so. Would I walk the dog if I had time?  Yes, I love the pooches.  What about cleaning up the yard?  Yes, I am happy to do most jobs as long as I can fit it into my day.

What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?

I am highly motivated and love a good challenge.  I enjoy cleaning and knowing that I have provided an excellent service, is something that I always strive to achieve.  I can provide a current Police Check.  I do not smoke, take drugs or drink alcohol so partying too hard would never be an excuse for me not to turn up to work on the next day !.

Because I have over 30 years cleaning experience in all aspects of the trade and I have excellent customer service skills.  I am fast and efficient and I get the job done and at the end of the day when the client comes home, they come home to a house that has been professionally cleaned and smells like a breath of fresh air !.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

By knowing that if they call me, I'll guarantee that I'll be there on time, every time. Save money, time is precious  - don't waste it calling the competition, just call me. Knowing that I use top quality products and the client no longer has to buy all those unused cleaning products from the supermarket.

I charge minimal fee,I come highly recommended and I am more than happy to use my own cleaning equipment and products if the client chooses.

I enjoy cleaning for the Domestic sector of the cleaning trade.  Being able to assist those who are busy and don't have the time to clean their homes because of work commitments and for those clients who are elderly and cannot manage on their own.

In my experience I have cleaned for Domestic and Commercial properties, primary and secondary schools, offices and factories.  I have my Certificates in Small Business Studies, Manual Handling, First Aid and Workplace, Health and Safety.  I have cleaned for agencies such as Absolute Domestics, Mum's Angels and Dial-an-Angel.  I have experience as a Room Attendant for Motels as well as Real Estate Agents.
