Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Accepted Answer

Yes our business is insured, it is hard to put a time frame guarantee on our work - we can give a guarantee, however length of guarantee would vary depending on type of stone and sealer used.  On completion we happily give maintenance advice to clients on the best way to care for there treated surface and we are only a phone call away should they have any concerns/queries.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

I was offered the opportunity to work with stone through some family friends over 10 years ago, I looked on it as an apprenticeship, learned everything I could and have never looked back!

What do you like most about your job?

The thing I like best about my job is that every day is different, and I never know what challenge may await me and we also get to work in some magnificent locations/properties.

What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?

Most commonly asked question from our customers would be ''How long  will the sealer last, and when will we have to have it sealed again?''  My answer is always that it depends on how well the stone is maintained and I advise on correct cleaning methods/products to use and that the stone should only need be resealed in around 5 yrs time, high traffic areas may need to be done sooner.

I am the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job because I communicate effectively from the get go and I do what I say I will do without over promising. I turn up on time on the right day and if any unforseen changes to the plan may occurr, I  will always communicate with the client so they know exactly where they are at.

A customer should hire Reseal stone over another service provider as we do an outstanding job and are honest and reliable.  We pride ourselves in customer satisfaction and communicate effectively with the customer from the start to completion.

What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?

Typical things we need to know before we provide a quote are: the type of stone involved, whether it is a restoration or clean and seal and roughly how many square metres we are talking about.

What makes your pricing competitive?

What makes our pricing competitive is that we have found that we usually come in around the middle if someone is getting the standard 3 quotes. Cheapest of course is not always best!!

How do you normally charge for your service?

Normally we charge by the square metre, however if it is a bit more of a specialised service such as removing etching from marble for example we would need to look at the job and charge accordingly.

Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?

The aspect of my trade that I feel I specialise in is being able to always find a solution through my knowledge/experience to bring the stone back to life - by removing scratching/staining that sometimes 3 or 4 tradespeople have tried to remove unsuccessfully before me

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have over 12 years experience working with all varieties of stone and through many years of trial and error have become known as a bit of a troubleshooter, as I haven't to this day come across a problem/challenge that I haven't been able to conquer.
