My sharpening business specialises in the sharpening of precision tools such as knives for chefs, meat workers, and knives used at home. Precision sharpening of carpenters chisels and planer blades also many other tools such as axes, some mower blades, some scissors, garden pruning tools, cold chisels and other tools that might need a sharp edge. The sharpening process is on a slow revolving stone that is water cooled so there is no damage to the temper of the steel as high spinning grinding wheels and belt grinders burn the steel and makes the steel become brittle. This process does not damage your tools of trade and the sharpened edge lasts a lot longer. I have been sharpening tools for the past 15 years in Brisbane and have recently moved to Golden Beach on the Sunshine Coast and while I have semi retired, I have decided to continue my sharpening business. The machine for sharpening is mobile if necessary but I prefer the tools to be sharpened to be delivered to my address or I can pick up and deliver back to you if necessary.
