• If plans are required insure that you and the builder/carpenter are in complete understanding and agreement with each about the project ahead • insure the work area is totally clean, ready and prepared for the work to commence as soon as carpenter arrives • get yourself 2 or 3 different quotes

When quoting on a new job I always consider every little detail in making sure correct materials, correct amount and minimum wastage which in turn saves the client and saves extra time to your invoice.

How do you normally charge for your service?

Usually a flat rate of $42.00 an hour but can also work on a total cost estimate, depending on the job and clients preference.

I have been a fully qualified carpenter for 6 years. I did my apprenticeship with a commercial builder (Merkon Constructions) where I worked for 8 years and gain plenty of experience in all aspects of building and carpentry. Completed Cert IV in building and construction @ kangan campus broadmeadows
