Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

Accepted Answer

Yes we carry public liability insurance to 5 million and are covered for most tree works and ALL hedge works. As Hedge work specialists it is hard to guarantee certain aspects but I often guarantee the thing within my controll and stand by my word.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

I remember a few years ago when it was the middle of winter which is typically a slow period in the garden landscape industry.  I had to keep my two younger staff busy, a guy and girl both in their early 20's while myself and my senior gardener looked after clients' needs. I had some flyers printed and I instructed the two young gardeners to go and distribute them in some areas in which we had not really introduced ourselves to the public. One lady in particular came across them and my flyers. This lady had been searching for months for some skilled knowledgeable gardeners to look after her extensive and large hedges. The lady had resorted to getting quotes from arborists and was finding the quotes were far too expensive (five figures!!) if the hedges were to be pruned regularly to keep their beautiful shape. The lady even had to stop one contractor she tried as he unfortunately was making a real mess of the hedges.   We quoted this lady a very realistic price, got the job and upon completion we were told that it was the best job that had EVER been done on the garden. We continue to put in our best effort for this lady whenever she needs us.  It was the right thing to do to keep my loyal staff busy and  paid, even if it cost me, but fate and fortune were on our side and we met one of our best clients to date and the lady finally found the best gardeners for her garden.

You can rely on our work always being of a high standard because we care about the jobs we do, take pride in our work and always try to to the best job possible. You can rely on us turning up when expected because we want to do the job as much as you want it done. You can trust us because we strive to be quality, honest and friendly trades people and we want everyone to know that we don't cut corners and are honest operators so we can build the business for years to come.

Because we are a young enthusiastic crew who are in the game for the long haul, not just a quick buck. I take pride in my work and only ask for payment once I'm happy to put my name to the job.

We need to know what YOU want because we want to make you happy. We understand that it can be hard to explain exactly what you have in mind so that's why we often like to come and meet face to face to discuss and agree on what you need and want in terms of both results and budget.

How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips

The three best ways to save money if you are thinking of using my services are (1) Negotiate a discount for partial or full Pre-Payment. (2) Promise to make payment in cash the same day the job is completed, I still provide an invoice for cash. (3) Make it easier for us! Do this by having the site ready and clear for access, be as flexible as possible around bookings (we always try to work with you but if we can pick the day and time it can help cost), don't hang around and watch our every move because it can be distracting and we must take more care because your safety is too important. Combine these three tips and watch the price drop!

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?

All irrigation systems will now have ALL parts and materials supplied absolutely at trade price (around 25% - 35% less than retail) as we are nearing the end of the hot weather. We still would like to be doing Irrigation jobs but people don't think about it as much when it's cooler weather.

What makes your pricing competitive?

Our pricing is very competitive whether it be for high level expert Hedge and tree works or basic horticultural services because we have the best gear and experience so even if our formula is not cheap we complete jobs more quickly so we end up doing a better job for cheaper even if another contractor has a cheaper hourly rate because they often take longer and may not achieve the same level of results.

How do you normally charge for your service?

We charge based on a formula that considers how long the job should take, if there is any rubbish to be removed, any specialist equipment, whether the job actually requires our level of experience and expertise or not, how busy we are at the time and if we are treated respectfully upon meeting clients.

We are Hedge Trimming, lopping specialists. We can assist in all aspects of Hedge maintenance, Hedge design, Hedge plant sales (try us, great discounts). I also offer a consultation service to those keen to try their hand on their own medium to large Hedges.

What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?

I have ten years full time experience in the Landscape and Horticulture industry working on jobs that require solid knowledge and excellent results. I also have been working in the trades generally since my mid teen years prior to that so there is not much my team and I cannot get done for you.
