  At New Era Carpentry and Building we understand that trust and reliability is an important deciding factor in choosing your tradespersons. We treat clients as we expect to be treated. We want you to ask us questions: the more knowledge the client gathers, the easier it is for us to do exactly what you want! We always strive to meet client expectations: we don't make promises we can't fulfill! We don't take shortcuts: we understand that any building or carpentry works are an investment and we build them to stand the test of time! We provide boutique building and carpentry services: this means that the owner oversees your project and we don't have an impenetrable management structure you have to navigate. We always endeavour to be on time!

• How do you normally charge for your service?

  We offer clients two main options for the pricing of their projects. Option 1 is fixed price: This option means the cost of the whole project is set out at the start in relation to a specific set of tasks and materials. This is a good option for someone who knows exactly what they need done. The main benefit is the total cost is known up front before the works commence. The main disadvantage is that changes to the specific tasks and materials will be in addition to the fixed price and can alter works schedule. Option 2 is cost-plus: This option means the cost of production is covered by the client and the plus part refers to an upfront, agreed fixed fee to cover overheads and profit. The main benefit is that this option more easily accommodates changes to materials and tasks for the the project. The most appropriate option will depend on you!
