Is there a particular aspect of your trade or industry that you specialise in?
At the present time I specialize in contract cleaning for larger organizations. eg. I have a medical centre contract, supermarket and 3 banks I clean on a weekly basis.
Obviously this involves most aspects of cleaning. For example on these sites we do: carpets, upholstery cleans, windows, strip and seals. etc.
How do you normally charge for your service?
Depending on the location, site unseen or an inspection has taken place we charge one of three ways.
Submit a quote whereby we provide a tax invoice for the quoted price + GST. Inspection takes place.
Provide an estimate of time to do clean. Charge an hourly rate + GST for the time it takes to complete. Inspection takes place.
Provide an hourly rate + GST. Arrive on site and complete. Charge accordingly. No inspection.
What makes your pricing competitive?
We have a very good work ethic. We make sure we arrive on site with the proper equipment to do the job. We also have great staff who are very reliable and will be on site to perform the jobs in a quick and efficient manner.
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
By trying to do some basic cleaning before hand.
By trying to keep house keeping up to date.
By removing high cleaning eg: mould removal.

Are there any special offers you would like to offer to Oneflare customers?
Any special offers would be discussed with client on site. These could vary from time and or preferred day that said works could be completed. Also a must do yesterday requirement.
What are the typical things that you need to know before you can provide a quote to a customer?
obviously we need the location of the premises. We need to have access to premises. This would mean a time to either meet the client on site and or access to the keys for an inspection Re: supply quote for works. We also would require a detailed list of services required. eg. Windows cleaned inside and or out, floors mopped, carpets cleaned. etc.etc.
Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?
Obviously we have insurance in place. Public Liability and Workers Compensation.
Over my years of experience I've never been able to guarantee work due to the fact it only takes one spilt drink on a carpet and its dirty again. The same applies for most things that get cleaned. They get dirty again.
All I can say is that when we leave it will probably be the cleanest it's ever been.
What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?
Obviously without reliability and trustworthiness I sure we wouldn't be in business.
We at present don't advertise and rely solely on word of mouth from our previous clients.
In our contract work we have to undergo police checks before allowed on site.
What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?
How much do you charge? We can supply a quote or we will charge you an hourly rate. */hr.
How much will it cost us? We will assess the work required and supply an estimate or quote.
When can you start. We try to work with the client and if possible do said works as client requires.

What do you like most about your job?
To receive compliments and or appreciation for a job well done is pretty awesome at the end of a long day.Whether it be in person or over the phone it makes it all worthwhile. Obviously this creates prompt payment and usually leads to other work through word of mouth.
Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?
Wao! I have to many stories to tell that I could write a short book on them. That would take me a little while to do. So all I can say is I am a very compassionate person and it is nice to do something for someone that has a short time left in this life we live.
How did you decide to get into your line of work?
I was an employee originally. Through this time I learnt all necessary facets of the service I now provide. unfortunately the financial reward as an employee was insufficient to support my family in the way I wanted. Also some employers are difficult to work for. Therefore I now have my own business and am quite happy providing the service and being my own boss.
