Garry built me a lovely large deck with steps to the garden. It is very well built and I'm sure it will stand the test of time. He arrived proptly in the morning and left when he had finished his goal for that day. I am very pleased with his work and would definitely recommend his services.

We'd watched way too many episodes of Grand Designs and we needed a builder who would be patient and accommodating with all our unconventional ideas. We wanted a new ensuite and to re-arrange the mezzanine in our 150 year old hall. Garry was not phased by crumbling stone walls that leaned in every direction. Nor did he mind that we sourced all kinds of odd materials. He and Kenny just got on with the job. He added to the finished project in dozens of ways, solving problems with drainage and making suggestions that enhanced the job at every turn. We were also very impressed with his team of tradespeople, a great plumber, tiler, plasterer and painter. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always conscious that we were still living in the space. It was left clean and tidy every evening. Read more

when i quote a job that quote is definite and will not change unless the customer changes the job requirements. This way everyone knows where they stand, also i only work on one job at a time and detail exactly what you get for your hard earned money. I turn up to work hard when i say im going to and dont let people down.
What experience, skills, qualifications or training do you have to make you the right person for the job?
with 30 years in the business i have a multitude of knowkledge and skills that will get your job done, as a carpenter and general builder i am licensed to build 2 storey homes and am also a registered supervisor.
How can a customer save money before you start the work? Please give 3 tips
Tip 1) before deciding on doing a job, make sure you know all of the possible options available and then decide which option suits you best. Tip 2) don't be afraid to ask for advice from professionals, your local council planning dept, and of course your chosen builder. Tip 3) get quotes early as builders are aften booked well in advance, but can also hepl with the 2 tips above.
What makes you the most reliable and trustworthy person for the job?
As an old school skilled tradesman who believes in building and maintaining a good reputation with customers as well as a good working relationship through any job, my trustworthyness and reliability are core to my working ethic.
What questions do customers commonly ask and how would you answer them?
customers ask a multitude of questions and i try to give the most honest answer that i can at that time, everyone's circumstances are different and require different answers sometimes to the same questions.
Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?
As a result of doing a bathroom renovation for a customer i got a call as a referral to do another bathroom renovation, this required removing an old bath and creating a shower cubicle for a lovely elderly lady who had been found unconcious in the bath after slipping and knocking herself out. She was found by her daughter who was seventy two years old and her mother was ninety two years old and more spritely than most fifty year olds. The lady was so pleased with her new shower she made me some homemade plum jam, my favourite since a child. I love working for nice peolpe.
What questions should a customer ask to hire the right service professional?
Trust is a big part of any working arrangement between a customer and a trade supplier, often i have been told i got the job because the customer felt they could trust me from meeting for the first time, as well of course offering a comeptitive quotation with concise detailing of what i would do for them. if there's one question to ask as well as getting a feel for the person who's quoting on your job. It's this 'Can you give us at least 2 names and numbers of people you have worked for recently who will honestly tell us about the work you have done and whether they are happy with it and the service you provided'
